Judith Ellen Moody, age 83 of Collinsville, IL, born February 1, 1941 in Steubenville, OH, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Stearns Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Granite City, IL.

Judith attained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama and Master of Arts from the University of Illinois. She had worked as the director of the Glen/Ed Food Pantry. She loved her canine companions, movies, and long walks. She enjoyed fly fishing and was an avid bike rider.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Luther and Margaret Elizabeth (nee Rawlings) Moody; and a brother, Forrest Moody.

Surviving is her two sons: Paul (Karin Crocker DVM) Davis DVM of Collinsville, IL and Scott (Martha Teagle-Davis) Davis of Brooklyn, NY; three grandchildren: Arabella Davis, Dashiell Davis and Josephine Davis; and a brother, T. Michael Moody of Birmingham, AL.

Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Memorial service will follow at 7 p.m with Father Jeff Holtman officiating.
