Judy Ann Sherman, age 67 of Collinsville, IL, born July 26, 1949 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Judy was an administrative assistant for Bussman Fuse until 1975 before becoming a homemaker. She loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Marilyn nee Alvey Sparkman.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Herbert Sherman, whom she married on July 29, 1972; a daughter, Michelle (David) Dixon of Winfield, WV; two grandchildren: Daytona and Tate Dixon; and a brother, Jim D. Sparkman of Topeka, KS.

Visitation will be 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL.

Funeral service will be at 11am Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the funeral home, with Rev. Kyle Wright officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Maryville Fire Department and will be received at the funeral home.
