Karen Sue Shoptaw, age 63 of Godfrey, IL, born June 17, 1953 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Collinsville, IL.

Karen loved gardening. Her favorite flower was the Lilly. She enjoyed crocheting hats, afghans, and scarves for her family and friends. May she rest now that she is in peace.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Price; and a brother, Richard Price.

She is survived by her mother, Rose nee Wortham Price of Godfrey, IL; two sons: Christopher Wood of Collinsville, IL and Jason Wood of Godfrey, IL; five grandchildren: Devin, Tori, Kade, Riley, and London; three sisters: Kathy Wilkinson, Diana Wofford, and Connie Kindhart; three brothers: Robert Williams, Darin and Steven Price; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Memorials may be made to the family and will be received at the funeral home.
