Katherine Tuley Pettit, age 93 of Springfield, IL, passed away peacefully at The Fountains Assisted Living facility in Troy, IL on Monday, September 1, 2014. She was born September 1, 1921 in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of William and Etha Tuley.

Katherine is survived by her son, William (Dao) McDavitt; daughters, Patti (Gordon) Joyner, Kathy (Mike) Adams, and Gigi (Paul) DeLuca; 13 grandchildren: Shane, Lindsey, Galen, Anna, Isabelle and Ella McDavitt; Kim, Shawn, Michael and Clayton Joyner; Ashley, Karli and Conner Adams; and6 great grandchildren: Anna, Bailey, Lucas, Lily, Jordan and Avery.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 11am on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 815 South Second Street, Springfield, IL with the service immediately following and columbarium interment placement.
