Kelley R. Settle, age 81 of Glen Carbon, IL, born July 10, 1935 in Ina, IL passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Kelley retired after 40 years of service with Missouri Boiler and Company in St. Louis, MO as plant maintenance staff. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Roger and Dorothy Ruby nee Kelley Settle; his wife, Norma L. Settle; a daughter, Susan M. Settle.

He is survived by two daughters: Diane C. Settle of Sarasota, FL and Julie A. (Alan) Stolzer of Port Orange, FL; two grandchildren: Benjamin and Hannah Stolzer; siblings: Jimmy Settle of Ina, IL, Lois (Wayne) McDaniel of Avon, IN, Joe (Mary Ann) Settle of St. John's, FL and William (Crystal) Settle.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. following the visitation with Rev. Kevin Wilson officiating. Kelley will be laid to restnext tohis wife and daughter, Susan, at Kirk Cemetery, Ina, IL.

Memorials may be made to New Rivers Church and will be received at the funeral home.
