Kevin L. Eck, age 50 of Lutz, FL, formerly of Collinsville, IL, born November 16, 1968 in Belleville, IL, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at his residence.

Kevin was a 1986 Collinsville High School graduate.  He worked as an information technology manager for the Kansas City Southern, Union Pacific, and CSX Railroads, and previously worked for UPS.  He enjoyed motorcycle racing and building things.

He is survived by his wife, April ( nee Street) Eck of Lutz, FL; a daughter, Lainey Eck of Lutz, FL; parents, Robert Eck and Trudy ( nee Koeller) Hicks, both of Collinsville, IL; and a brother, Michael Eck of Maryville, IL.

Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. following the visitation with Rev. Jim Donahue officiating.  Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriner's Hospital for Children and will be received at the funeral home.
