Larry E. Schwander, age 71 of Maryville, IL, born October 24, 1949 in Granite City, IL, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.

Larry was a retired Machinist Journeyman.  He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and playing the guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Freida (nee Bronnbauer) Schwander; and a sister, Adeline.

He is survived by his loving wife, Eva (nee Dorris) Schwander, whom he married April 18, 1992; three children:  Jim (Valerie) Warren of St. Charles, MO, Michael Forsyth of Collinsville, IL and Andrea Corbin of Russellville, AR; one grandchild, Parker Barton; a brother, Mike Schwander; and three sisters:  Emmy (Matt) Courtright, Cathy Burchfield and Patty Fondren.

Upon his request, Larry will be cremated and will be buried at Buck Road Cemetery in Maryville, IL.
