Leo Benard Lindsay age 77 of Troy, IL, born August 9, 1936 in Granite City, IL, passed away on Saturday November 9, 2013 at 2:20am atAnderson Hospital in Maryville.

Leo was a retired office manager for Tarlas Food in Madison, IL and also Jones Vending in St. Louis, MO. Hegraduated from Granite City High School in 1956, was a library board member for the Tri-Township Public Library in Troy for 11 years, and a mason for the Masonic Lodge #355in Marine IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents Creo Benard and Caroline nee Boerckel Lindsay, and a sister Wilma Scoffield.

He is survived by his wife Marcella nee Hendricks Lindsay whom he married on October 27, 1962, two daughters Jean Ruiz, and Marsha Lindsay both of Troy, IL, four grandchildren Lindsay (Chad) Lindow of Troy, IL, Cory (Emily) Guetterman of Highland, IL, Leya Ruiz and Marvel Larson both of Troy, IL, four great grandchildren Ashleigh, Addison, Aaron, and Hannah, and a sister Barbara (David) Smith of Glen Carbon, IL.

Visitation will be from 3pm to 7pm on Wednesday November 13, 2013 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home 2800 North Center Street Maryville. As per Leo's wishes his body will be cremated.
