Lilli Thea (nee Rieder) Brockman, age 91, of Collinsville, IL, born January 31, 1930 in Bad Wildungen, Germany, passed away on August 20, 2021 at Meridian Village Care Center, Glen Carbon, IL.

Lilli grew up in Germany and came to the United States in 1958 and worked for United Airlines out of San Francisco for over 30 years. She liked to shop and loved baking holiday cookies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kaufmann Fritz and Katharina Elisabeth (nee Engel) Rieder.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy (Joseph) Uyehara of Collinsville, IL; 3 grandchildren: Jason (Mallory) Butler, Harry Uyehara, and Thomas Uyehara; 3 great-grandchildren: Owen, Nolan, and Lilly; and 3 sisters: Hertha (Herman) Neumeyer, Christa (Dieter) Latendorf, and Erika (Kurt) Deist.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to Noon on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville, IL.

Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation and begin at Noon, with Rev. Scott Adle officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Collinsville, IL.

Memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church are requested in lieu of flowers and will be accepted at the visitation or may be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home (2800 N. Center Street, Maryville IL 62062).
