Linda Marie Carter, age 52 of Edwardsville, IL, born August 30, 1965 in St. Louis, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Evelyns House Hospice Home in Creve Coeur, MO.

Linda attained her Bachelor in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She was the owner and operator of Professional Bookkeeping in Edwardsville, IL, and also worked at Rex Encore in Alton, IL. She was a former member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and church choir in Maryville, IL, as well as the Edwardsville Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed camping, and had many friends.

She is survived by her parents, Thomas Michael (Barb) Cline of Arnold, MO and Josephine Marie Sapia of St. Peters, MO; her husband, Patrick Carter, whom she married September 1, 2016; two sons: Aaron Kuhlmann of CA and Joel Kuhlmann of Edwardsville, IL; a sister, Catherine (Terry) Sanders of Maryville, IL; a grandma, Esther Cline of Arnold, MO; two nephews: Dan and Greg Sanders, both of Maryville, IL; a step-son, Tyler Carter of Wentville, MO; two step-daughters: Megan Andrew of Wentzville, MO and Pattrice Carter of Arnold, MO; and three step-grandchildren: Rylinn and Raegan Andrew, and Braxton Carter.

Visitation will be 9am to 2pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL with a funeral liturgy outside of mass at 1:45 pm by Deacon Mike Melton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL.
