Linda Dee Medlin, age 72, of Fairmont City, IL, born September 20, 1949 in East St. Louis IL, passed away on March 3, 2022 at Bethesda Southgate Nursing Home in St. Louis, MO.

Linda was a graduate of Washington University and was a retired accountant. She was dedicated to her church, Evangel Temple Church in St. Louis, MO, and was a lover of animals. She especially enjoyed luncheons at tea rooms with her nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin Gene and Delores (nee Foehrkalb) Ostendorf.

She is survived by four brothers: Terry Ostendorf of St. Louis, MO; Brian (Rose) Ostendorf of Caseyville, IL; Mark (Dawn) Ostendorf) of Fairmont City, IL; and Lee Ostendorf of Fairmont City, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:45 a.m., immediately following the visitation, with Rev. Harold Maxey officiating. Burial will be in Buck Road Cemetery, Maryville, IL.
