Linda S. "Aunt Linda" Nichols, age 64 of Collinsville, IL, born June 23, 1954 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her residence with family by her side.

Linda was a 1972 Collinsville High School graduate. She loved watching Cardinal baseball, working jigsaw puzzles, was a NASCAR fan, and loved spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Bonita nee Bachman Nichols.

She is survived by four brothers: Kenneth (Liz) Nichols of Dewey, AZ, Darwin (Marilyn) Nichols of Topeka, KS, Terry Nichols of Collinsville, IL and Jeff Nichols of Collinsville, IL; two sisters: Barb (Dan) Roberson of St. Jacob, IL and Kimberlee (Kevin) Winkler of Collinsville, IL; nine nieces and nephews; 14 great nieces and nephews; and eight great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9am to 12 noon on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Funeral service will be at 12 noon following the visitation with Chaplain Royal Boeder officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.

Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice or Shriner's Children's Hospital and will be received at the funeral home.
