Linda Kay Wettach, 72, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Anderson Hospital.

She was born March 12, 1953, in St. Louis, MO to the late Glenn Elmer and Catherine (nee Pline) Ridgley.

She was a faithful beloved member of Heart of Worship Community Church, where she found great joy in her church family, community and above all praising her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Over her lifetime Linda enjoyed several activities along with her Husband George which included traveling across the country to national parks which corresponded with a love for artistic photography. Linda and George also loved horseback riding together on their horses Sierra and Moe. Linda also had great love and compassion for all animals of which she rescued and cared for many which didn't have a home or had been discarded by their previous owners, she provided them a loving home for the rest of their life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. George Wettach; two brothers, Nick Ridgley and Michael Ridgley; and a grandson, Jacob DeMarco.

She is survived by her son, Gabriel "Gabe" Ridgley and Wife Julie Ridgley of Collinsville, IL; three grandchildren, David, Sarah, and Lauren Henze; one great-grandchild, Jackson DeMarco; two brothers, Glenn "Ace" Ridgley and Richard Ridgley; two sisters, Cindy Ridgley and Carryl Ridgley; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Memorials are suggested to Heart of Worship and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.

A memorial / celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Heart of Worship Community Church located at 3850 Wesley Ave, Catawissa, MO 63015 with services starting at 1pm.
