Lloyd Weeks, 92, of Maryville, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Chapters Living of Edwardsville.

Born May 14, 1933, in Granite City, IL, Lloyd was the son of the late Worlen and Ellen (nee Viesman) Weeks. He grew up in Granite City, IL, and was a proud graduate of Granite City High School.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Jean (nee Moller) Weeks; his second wife, Ruth Ann (nee Reynolds) Weeks; his son, Lloyd Jeffrey Weeks; and daughter-in-law, Donna Weeks.

He is survived by his four sons, Donald J. Weeks, Rickie A. Weeks, Steven W. and Cecelia Weeks, and Mark L. Weeks; six stepchildren: Marilyn and Rich Hall, Paula Underhill, Robin and Shane Brown, Dean and Michelle Reynolds, Tim and Cheryl Reynolds, Cary and Carla Reynolds; 30 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog and cat companions.

Lloyd worked many years as a heavy equipment operator and retired from Operating Engineers Local 520. A devout Catholic, he had been a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville since 1959.

Lloyd had a passion for building and fixing just about anything. He especially enjoyed restoring old tractors and spending quality time with his family. His strong work ethic, and love for hands-on projects left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 200 N. Lange, Maryville, IL, with Father John Beveridge officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL.
