Lorraine T. Henson age 88, of Fairmont City, IL, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Edwardsville Care Center in Edwardsville, IL.

Lorraine was born on August 1, 1933 in East St. Louis, IL to the late Frank and Frances (nee Kinkel) Skaro. She retired from Sears after 30 years of service as a sales clerk, and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Fairmont City.

She is survived by her two sons, Gregory D. Henson and Gary W. Henson; two grandchildren, Leslee (Justin) Felis and Greg (Dawn) Henson; numerous great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9 - 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL.

Memorials may be made in Lorraine's honor to the Alzheimer's Association and will be received at the visitation or can be mailed to the funeral home at 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
