Louise Piel age 88 of Overland, MO, born November 14, 1927 in Collinsville, IL, passed away at 8:07pm on Sunday March 27, 2016 at Liberty Village Care Center in Maryville, IL.

Louise was a retired clerk for a candy company. She was a member of Our Lady of the Presentation in Overland, MO. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Piel, her parents Ignazio and Maria nee Banche Ceresero.

She is survived by five sisters; Mary Rice, Madeline Weil, Lena Ceresero, Rose Cooper and Tina DeBaets, numerous nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday April 9, 2016 at Calvary Cemetery Chapel in St. Louis, MO, with Father Mark Dolan officiating. She will be buried alongside her husband Harry.
