Lynn Haas Brookshier, age 71 of Maryville, IL, born August 13, 1952 in Camden, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

Lynn grew up in Cape May, NJ.  She attained her Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law, was a past federal clerk, and in house counsel for Olin Brass in East Alton, IL.  After retiring, she worked at the Chef's Shoppe in Edwardsville.  Lynn was an avid gardener and cook, and enjoyed traveling to Holden Beach, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter M. and Mildred J. (nee Peoples) Haas.

Surviving are her three children:  Sarah (Ashley) Brookshier of Takoma Park, MD, Paul (Mary Kahle) Brookshier of Kirkwood, MO and Andrew Haas Brookshier of Maryville, IL; a grandson, Walter; a brother, W. Stephen Haas; and two sisters: Dale and Joan.

Memorial visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.

Memorial service will follow at noon.
