Mandy Patricia Harrison, age 50, of St. Jacob, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
Born on July 22, 1975, in Belleville, IL, Mandy earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. While attending SIUC, she was a proud sorority member of Alpha Gamma Delta where she made many friends. She devoted her life to her family and her many passions. She was an avid sports fan, especially loyal to the St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals, and she rarely missed a game on television. Mandy also found joy in reading, swimming, and in her younger years, summers spent with her family, cousins and many friends at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Above all, Mandy treasured time spent with her loved ones. Her greatest pride and joy were her two children, Samantha Fossland and Spencer Fossland. She loved attending all of Samantha's cheerleading events and Spencer's soccer games.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Mandy is survived by her children, Samantha and Spencer Fossland; her parents, Thomas and Arlene (née Karlak) Harrison; her brother, Christopher "Chris" Harrison; her half-brother, Tom Harrison, a niece, Hannah Harrison, and two nephews, Tom Pat Harrison and Tanner Harrison.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.
A funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 107 Wayland Ave., Troy, IL, with Father Kevin Laughery celebrant. Mandy will be laid to rest at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Fairview Heights, IL.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors. Contributions may be made at the visitation or mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
