Margie A. Julius, age 90 of Caseyville, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on December 9, 1932, in Bloomfield, MO to the late Guy and Elsie (nee Capps) Pritchett.  Margie married the love of her life, David H. Julius, on November 13, 1951.

Margie was the owner of Margie's Custom Drapes. She enjoyed yard sales, antiquing, collecting, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Most of all, she loved being with and caring for her friends and family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David A. Julius; a daughter, Angela Julius; a granddaughter, Jamie Julius; three brothers, Clive Pritchett, Jewel Pritchett, and Harold Pritchett; and three sisters, Reva Durham, Thelma Sipes, and Alma Lee Kinser.

Surviving is her son, Bruce (Kris) Julius of Red Bed; three daughters, Lisa (Gary) Hewlett of Collinsville, Lori Price (Greg Sparks) of St. Jacob, and Vicki Jackson (Terry Parker) of Caseyville; nine grandchildren, Chris, Justin, Tristin, Bryce, Kirstie, Kelly, Sam, Casey, and Cody; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special acknowledgement to Margie's granddaughter, Casey, for the care and companionship in her final days.

No services are scheduled at this time. Margie will be buried at Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO at a later date, next to her husband.
