Marjorie Orilla Layman, age 86 of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at her residence.

She was born October 21, 1936 in Success, AR to the late Benjamin and Frankie (nee Pippin) Fann. Marjorie was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling to Tunica, visiting her nieces and nephews in Arkansas, and spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Layman.

Surviving are her children; a sister, Dorothy Thompson of Collinsville; numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Troy, IL.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
