Marvin H. Wilke, age 90 of Collinsville, IL born April 25, 1923 in Maryville, IL passed away at 3:53 amon Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Marvin was a civil service employee. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Maryville, IL. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling, horseshoes, upholstery work, and watching Cardinal baseball.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Wilke, Sr. and Clara nee Sudhoff; and a brother, Arthur Wilke, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene M. Wilke, whom he married on December 16, 1945; three sons: Rick (Debbie) Wilke of St. Louis, MO, Randy (Kelley) Wilke of Collinsville, IL, and Mark (Sandy) Wilke of Troy, IL; two daughters: Marlene (David) Walmer of Pueblo, CO and Patti (Randy) Hensler of Maryville, IL; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10am to 1pm Saturday, February 8, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church, 7201 W. Main Street, Maryville, IL.

Funeral Service will be at 1pm at church with Rev. Lee Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL.
