Mary Kathryn Lane "Mary K" was a beloved, caring mother, grandmother, and friend. She left this world on March 2, 2024 at 80 years of age.

She was born on April 3, 1943 in Elmhurst, IL to the late Raymond and Frances (nee Peterson) Fearheiley. After graduating from high school in Wilmette, IL Mary K attended Culver Stockton College.  She had five children: Bill, Bob, BJ, Becky, and Brett.

Mary K loved taking care of her grandkids (Cameron, Grant, Caleb, Jack, Ryan, Nate, Ethan, Elise, Callie) and her great grandkids (Brogan, Deegan, Raygan, Lemi, Maple, Indie). They will miss her smile, love, naps, sweets, and spoons full of peanut butter.

Mary K enjoyed spending time with her many friends.  People gathered around Mary K because she was always so caring and fun to be around. She was always quick to provide delicious meals for her friends and family.  When warm weather came, you could find her on the weekends at her favorite place - the lake house, preferably riding around on the boat.

Surviving are her children:  Bill (Julie) Lane of Collinsville, Bob Lane of Collinsville, BJ Lane of Collinsville, Becky (Clint) Phelps of Troy and Brett (Jamie) Lane of Troy; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
