Mary Darlene Parker, age 86 of Collinsville, IL passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Evelyn's House in St. Louis, MO.

Mary was born on May 21, 1935 in East St. Louis, IL to the late Ivan and Annie (nee Stovall) Richardson.  She married Charles Parker and devoted her life to her family.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Collinsville, was a Sunday School assistant superintendent and choir member for many years.  She served on the Christian Education Board and was a Pioneer Girl leader for over 30 years.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening and painting but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; a daughter, Faith Lynn Parker; a brother, Gene Richardson; sister, Emma Burgess; sister-in-faith, Margie Howell.

Mary is survived by her four children: Terry (Bruce) Dye of Collinsville, IL; Mark (Denise) Parker of Collinsville, IL; Dawn Parker of Collinsville, IL; and Timothy Parker of Brookhaven, GA; six grandchildren: Ty (Laura) Parker, Mary (Keith) Donjon, Adam (Catherine) Dye, Aaron (Michele) Dye, Jonathan (Jessica) Dye and Rachel Dye; and seven great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Mina, Emilynn, Elaina, Jamieson, Vivienne and Tami.

Private burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
