Mary Jane Sauers, age 96 of Maryville, IL, born June 25, 1921 in Oak Park, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at her residence.

Mary Jane was a retired accountant, having attained her BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois. She was raised in the Catholic faith. She loved reading, sewing and knitting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold J. and Marion nee Loversky Bartlett; her husband, Arnold D. Sauers; a son, William Sauers; and a brother, Richard Bartlett.

She is survived by three daughters: Ann (Stanley) Gondek, Nancy (Sam) Tomaine, and Mary Sauers; two sons: James (Diane) Sauers and Brian (Shirley) Sauers; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas Bartlett.

Upon her request, Mary Jane was cremated and the family will plan a memorial service at a later date.
