Mary Ellen nee Wykoff Wisenhunt, age 78 of Maryville, IL born July 15, 1936 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away at 3:40 am on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Liberty Village Care Center in Maryville, IL.

Mary Ellen was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, woodwork, painting, crafts and yard work. She was a member of United Pentecostal Church of Troy, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Ripley, Louis Robert Santen, and Luther James Wisenhunt; her parents, William and Helen nee Brown Wykoff; a son, Robert Louis Santen; three sisters, two brothers, and an infant brother.

She is survived by three daughters: Mary "Therese Marie" (Tom) Schwartz ofManchester, MO, Julie Santen Thomason of Maryville, IL, and Lynne Santen of Belleville, IL; eight grandchildren: Samantha Farris, Kelley and Matthew Schwartz, Heather Liefer, Rusty Santen, Amber, Tim and Jason Thomason; six great grandchildren: Autumn, Anthony, Jack, Ember, Kaiden and Bobby; and two sisters.

Memorial services will be held at the United Pentecostal Church in Troy at a later date.
