Matilda Julia ( nee Wagner) Schulz, age 86 of Glen Carbon, IL, born May 10, 1932 in Brimfield, IL passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville, IL.

Tillie, as she was known to family and her many friends, enjoyed cooking, bowling, gardening and bridge.  She was a devoted wife and mother, attending school and sporting events.  Tillie began running in her 40's and was immensely proud of her 5K trophies.  She found a passion with Shaklee and took exceptional care of her customers.  Tillie had a steadfast faith in God.  Her gracious, beautiful spirit, not dimmed by Alzheimer's, will be greatly missed.  She is now home with our Lord Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Julia ( nee Cox) Wagner; and two brothers-in-law:  Earl Rusch and Steve Harding.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert Eugene Schulz, whom she married September 5, 1954; a son, Keith (Patti) Schulz; a daughter, Linda Schulz; five grandchildren:  Kathryn, Lindsey, Meaghan, Joshua and Zachary; five great-grandchildren:  Jace, Olivia, Tucker, Tanner and Grayson; a brother, Bill (Kay) Wagner; three sisters:  Mary (Fred) Dungan, Dorothy Rusch and Eileen Harding; numerous nieces and nephews.
