Michael Joseph Cluck, age 68, of Edwardsville, IL, born June 28, 1954 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Monday September 5, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side.

Michael was very proud of his East St. Louis heritage.  He was a 1972 Collinsville High School graduate, and earned his B.A. Business & Marketing from SIUE.  He worked as a sales manager in the alcoholic beverage industry for many years before starting Farmers & Allstate Insurance Agencies.  He enjoyed watching old movies and college football but most of all spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Cluck and Beverly (nee Schmidt) Hicks; and step-parents, George Hicks and Patricia Cluck.

Surviving are his loving wife, Nancy (nee Kirchoff) Cluck, whom he married October 8, 1977; a son, Andrew (Kimberly) Cluck of Oklahoma City, OK; three daughters: Stephanie (Chris) Tubbs of Troy, IL, Julia (Simon) Billsberry of Maulden England and Svetlana Silkina of Spokane, WA; five grandchildren:  Adalie and Ethan Tubbs, Audrey and Evan Cluck, and Francesca Billsberry; a brother, Patrick (Dana) Cluck of Salt Lake City, UT; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022 at St. James Lutheran Church, 146 N. Main Street, Glen Carbon, IL with Rev. Aaron Mueller officiating.  Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.

Memorials are suggested to St. James Lutheran Church, Metro East Humane Society, or Good Shepherd Lutheran School and will be received at the visitation or can be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
