Michael Patrick Forsyth, Jr., 40, of Maryville, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at St. Louis University Hospital.

He was born on September 4, 1985, in Belleville, IL. He graduated from Collinsville High School, Class of 2004, and worked in the woodworking industry.

Michael enjoyed spending time fishing and was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Patrick Forsyth, Sr., and his stepfather, Larry Schwander.

Michael is survived by his mother, Eva (nee Dorris) Schwander; his son, Parker Barton; his brother, Jim (Valerie) Warren; and his fiancée, Angie Bullard, and her son, J.J. Bullard. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Randy Albers and Ruth Dorris, and Dennis and Linda Branson; as well as cousins Greg and Kim Mattern, Mary Koppemhofer, Matt Branson, and Mark Branson.

In accordance with Michael's wishes, he will be cremated and no public services will be held.
