Michael Yusef Garmsiri, age 27 of Maryville, IL, born August 24, 1991 in Oklahoma City, OK, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at his residence.

Michael loved kids, his family, and animals.  He was a very good artist and loved to go to the movies.

Beloved son of Farshad Garmsiri and Karen Klopfenstein of Maryville, IL; loving sibling of Lynn (Gareth) Kalfas of Spring Grove, VA and Matthew Garmsiri of Maryville, IL; grandson of Nabiollah (Fatomeh) Garmsiri of Iran, and Julie Klopfenstein of Norman, OK.

Private Muslim burial was held at Calvary Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Hazelden Betty Ford Treatment Center in Center City, MN.
