Michael J. Jones, age 77 of Maryville, IL, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at La Bella of Edwardsville.

He was born August 16, 1947 in East St. Louis, IL, to the late Charles and May Anna (nee Croy) Jones. He retired from Amtrak Railroad where he worked as a carman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Charlotte Johnson and Katheryn Buehler; brothers, John Jones, Ralph Jones, Walter Jones and Leon Jones.

He is survived by a brother, Roy Paul Jones of Collinsville, IL; many nieces and nephews.

Michael's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.
