Michael Lee Weiss, age 49 of Damiansville, IL, born January 30, 1967 in Belleville, IL passed away at 8:17 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Michael was an autobody technician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon C. and Helen B. nee Haas Weiss.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle M. Weiss, whom he married on June 23, 1990; and two sons: Caleb M. and Elijah M. Weiss.

Upon his request his body was donated to the Washington School of Medicine.
