Michele C. Vallino, age 74 of Maryville, IL, born March 17, 1949, in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, in her home surrounded by family.

Michele was a Collinsville High School graduate of 1967, and then went on to graduate from the former Belleville Area College. She was a lab tech until she started her family, where she then became a homemaker. Her health was important to her; Michele enjoyed working out, running marathons, and teaching aerobics.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Cliford and Mary (nee Williams) Gray; and a brother, David Gray.

Surviving are her husband, Mike Vallino, whom she married August 2, 1980; son, Brian Wright of Brighton, IL; five grandchildren; one great grandson; a brother, Dennis Gray of Leawood, KS; a sister, Alexa Tate of Maryville, IL; three nieces; three nephews; eight great-nephews and nieces; and her best and closest friend, Rosie Kostyshock.

Her wishes were to be cremated and a burial will be held at a later date at Fairland Cemetery in Maryville, IL.
