Mildred L. Farmer, age 75 of Belleville, IL, born November 29, 1948 in Macon, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL surrounded by her family.

Mildred graduated from Belleville High School in Belleville, MI, Class of 1966.  She was a retired home health care provider and enjoyed gardening and decorating.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Allen and Virginia Lee (nee Savage) Thornton; a brother, Gerald Thornton; and a brother-in-law, Jim Franklin.

Surviving are her five children: Ginny (Grant) Weber, Mandi Fimbres, Paul Decker, Jessie (Derek) Zirkelbach, and Bobbi (Keith Pfeifer) Farmer; eight grandchildren: Brent, Seth, Walker, Cameron, Bray, Dallas, Grace and Bryce; three sisters: Patty Franklin, Cheryl (Ray) Dyer, and Georgia Thornton; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Thornton; her close friend of over 25 years, Jeff Straube; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
