Miriam Sharon Frey, age 79 of Maryville, IL, passed away on Sunday March 3, 2019 at Elmwood Nursing Home in Maryville, IL

Miriam was a retired secretary for the Metro East Montessori School in Granite City, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Augustus and Mary Ethel (nee Ayers) Sparks.

She is survived by one son, Peter Frey, of Brooklyn, NY.

Upon her request she was cremated and private graveside services were held on March 11, 2019 at Frieden's Cemetery in Troy, IL with Rev. Roger Wright officiating.
