Nadine Lucille Verderber, age 83, of Glen Carbon, IL, born January 28, 1940 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Nadine was a graduate of Lutheran Central High School in St. Louis, MO. She received her Masters Degree In Mathematics from Mizzou in Columbia, MO and her Doctorate from Ohio State; and she was a retired Professor of Mathematics at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, IL. She loved to travel and was a die-hard Cardinals baseball fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Joseph Verderber and Lucille Katherine (Kirk) Verderber.

She is survived by her brother, David Verderber of St. Louis, MO.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon on Monday, September 11, 2023 at St. James Lutheran Church in Glen Carbon, IL.

The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and will begin at 12 p.m., with Rev. Aaron Mueller officiating. A private burial will be held at Lake Charles Park Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
