Nan Marie Chitwood, age 62 of St. Jacob, IL, born November 27, 1960 in Belleville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Aspen Creek of Troy in Troy, IL.

Nan was a retired executive assistant for a financial company.  She enjoyed crafting, home décor and water skiing in her younger years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and June Marie (nee Benefield) Hartman.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Glen Richard Chitwood, whom she married May 24, 1980; two sons, Clayton (Abby) Chitwood of Manchester, MO and Mackenzie (Sydney) Chitwood of Arnold, MO; three grandchildren, Adam, Mae, and another baby boy due in April; a brother, Marty Hartman of Collinsville, IL; a sister, Sandy (Rich) Vaughn of Collinsville, IL; numerous nieces and nephew.

Memorial visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.
