Nancy S. Froess, age 86 of Collinsville, IL, born November 26, 1935, in Erie, PA, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, surrounded by family.

Nancy was a graduate of Academy High School in Erie, PA.  She married Gerald Froess on December 18, 1954.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed dancing, water exercise, shopping but most of all spending time with family.  Her quiet yet very approachable personality made everyone love her instantly. She was a great listener.   She loved travel and lived all over the world because of husbands job in the U.S. Air force. They lived in France, Panama, and all over the U.S.   Once retired they lived like snowbirds in Florida returning home to Collinsville during the warmer months.  Nancy liked "to do".  She was always ready for the next adventure.    They continued to travel and her favorite trip was the countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Susan (Stucka) Rohan; and her infant daughter, Karen.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Gerald; She was a proud Mom of five children: Kathianne, Susan, Patricia, Marie (Jenny) and Michael; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren:  two brothers:  Charles Rohan of Las Vegas, NV and Michael Rohan of Erie, PA, she also had many nieces and nephews.

Per Nancy wishes there will be a small private memorial.

In the 40's, Nancy was a member of the Y-teen group and later in life she continued to enjoy the classes offered at the Y in Maryville.  Memorials may be made to _YMCA MARYVILLE or YOU MAY DONATE IN NANCY FROESS' NAME BY GOING TO https://gwrymca.org/donate048 or if you prefer to write a check payable to the CMT YMCA and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N.
