Nancy J. Lutz, age 94 of Maryville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at her residence surrounded by family.

She was born June 30, 1929 in Duncannon, PA to the late Walter and Pearl (nee Snyder) Wright.   She married George W. Lutz on October 15, 1948 and he preceded her in death.  Nancy was a homemaker.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, making things by hand such as quilting, ceramics, toll painting, tatting, crocheting and knitting.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, three brothers and two sisters.

Surviving is her son, Dennis Lutz of Maryville, IL; two grandchildren:  Jaime (Brandon) Cox and Julie (Scott) Bishop; and four great-grandchildren:  Georgia Cox, Charley Cox, Chloe Bishop, and Beau Bishop.

Private services will be held and she will be buried next to her husband in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
