Nona B. McDaniel age 78 of Collinsville, IL, born February 3, 1934 in Hayti, Missouri, passed away at 7:47am on December 17, 2012 at Cedarhurst Assisted Living Center in Collinsville.

Nona was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, and travelling. She and her late husband Arthur had completed ten cruises together over the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur J. McDaniel Jr. who passed away March 21, 2012, her parents Russell W. and Cassie nee Walton Dudley, a sister Cassie Johnson, and a brother Joseph Dudley.

She is survived by a son John (Judy) McDaniel of Granite City, IL, two daughters Nona (Wyatt) Smith of Elsah, IL, and Marcia (Robin) Biggs of Troy, IL, three grandchildren Meadrith (George) Kruse of Collinsville, Nona Lynn Smith of Grafton, IL, and Rory (Jessica) Biggs of Troy, three great grandchildren G.R. and Tucker Kruse and Karalyn Biggs, two brothers Noel (Norma) Dudley of Hayti, MO, and Russell (Jo Alice) Dudley of Trenton, TN, a brother-in-law Damon Johnson of Caruthersville, MO, numerous nieces and nephews.

Private visitation and funeral service will be held at Barry Wilson Funeral Home 2800 North Center Street Maryville, IL. The service will be officiated by Robin Biggs. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
