Patricia Joan Unger, age 79 of Maryville, IL, born September 29, 1942 in Peoria, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Elmwood Nursing Home in Maryville.

She enjoyed attending Faith Family Church in O'Fallon and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Mary (nee Branson) Fryer.

She is survived by her son, Ernest (Mary) Hayes, Sr. of O'Fallon, IL; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Patricia's wishes were to have her remains donated to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
