Paul William Hardt age 79 of Glen Carbon, IL, born March 25, 1932 in Red Wing, MN, passed away Wednesday January 25, 2012 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

Paul was a retired elementary school teacher. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville and a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thornton, IL. He really enjoyed gardening, and growing tulips.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Henry and Clara nee Becker Hardt, two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by a daughter Kelly Hardt of Collinsville, his first wife Candy Hardt of Collinsville, numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday January 28, 2012 from 9am until 11am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be Saturday January 28, 2012 11am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 304 South Street Collinsville, IL, with the Rev. William Engfehr and Rev. Fred Kraemer officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery Collinsville.
