Peggy L. Grega age 72 of Edwardsville, IL born December 19, 1939 in St. Louis, MO, passed away 12:29am on Thursday October 11, 2012 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Edwardsville, ILand was Vice President of the Women's Guild. She was a loving wife, mom, and grandma, who also loved the outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her parents Delmar and Dorothy nee Kennedy Cossel, two sisters Ruth Brewer and Ginger Flint, and a brother-in-law Richard Grega.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence Grega whom she married June 11, 1960, a daughter Debra (Thomas) Denton of Walkersville, MD, a son Michael Grega of Bridgeton, MO, a sister Doris Heinz of Surprise, AZ, four grandchildren Kimberly Long Denton, Justin Denton, Samantha Borbein, and Jessica Grega, and a sister-in-law Mary Grega of Springfield, IL.

Memorial visitation will be from 9:30am until time of mass at10:30am Tuesday October 16, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church 1802 Madison Avenue Edwardsville, IL 62025.

Memorial mass will be 10:30am Tuesday October 16, 2012 at the church, with Father Dan Bergbower officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Livingston, IL.
