Peggy Darlene Munton, age 93 of Glen Carbon, IL, born November 12, 1927 in Peoria, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Meridian Village Care Center, in Glen Carbon.

Peggy married Taylor J. Munton on November 14, 1949.  He preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker having raised their four children, Gary, Randy, Deanna and Kathy.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Herman Sr. and Muriel (nee Cooper) Green; a brother and his wife, Herman Jr. (Delores) Green; and a sister-in-law, Bobbi Green.

She is survived by her children, Gary (Sue) Munton of Collinsville, IL, Randy (Sandra) Munton of Gravois Mills, MO, Deena (James Robert) Keel of Collinsville, IL, and Kathy (Greg) Ferando of Magnolia, TX; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Burnell Green of Monticello, WI.

Peggy was cremated. A graveside service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO at a later date.
