Philip Michael Lindsey, age 62, of Collinsville, IL, born March 22, 1954 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away at 12:24 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Philip was a Senior Buyer-Planner at bioMerieux Inc. and had a BS/BA from Washington University. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville, IL, where he was active in volunteer service and a member of the Men's Bible Study. He enjoyed electronics and could fix anything around the house. Philip was a loving father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Lindsey, and mother, Hilda (nee Price) Lindsey.

He is survived by his former wife, Tamara Tucker-Lindsey; two sons: Gregg (Jennifer) Lindsey of Collinsville, IL and Ryan (Ashleigh Teasley) Lindsey of Troy, IL; and three grandchildren: Chloe, Carley, and Reese.

A memorial visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL. Memorial service will be at 7 p.m., officiated by Rev. Michael Walther.

Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and will be received at the funeral home.
