Rae Marie Price, age 89 of Collinsville, IL, born October 6, 1935, in Collinsville, peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Meridian Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, IL.

Rae was a 1953 Collinsville High School graduate. She retired from the Illinois Education Teachers Union where she worked as a secretary. She enjoyed playing tennis, cards, and spending time at the beach in Longboat Key, FL. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Collinsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Wally" H. Price; parents, Henry and Bernice (nee Falline) Ackermann; and two sisters: Gail Derickson and Lynn Granger.

Surviving is her daughter, Michele (Bruce Wright, Jr.) Anderson; two grandchildren: Katie (Roy) Horbett and Mitch (Sara) Anderson; six great-grandchildren: Aubree, Jaden, Cameron, Aliyah, Adaline and Brentlee.

Rae will be laid to rest with her husband in a private graveside service at St. John Cemetery in Collinsville.
