Raymond "Ray" L. Juenger, Jr., age 66 of Collinsville, born October 7, 1953 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Ray was retired from the Veterans Administration as an Inventory Management Specialist.  He was a Navy veteran, a Cubs fan, and enjoyed getting together with his friends.  Ray's most special moments were spent with the love of his life, Dianne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond L. Juenger, Sr. and Mildred nee Cawvey Marshall; a brother, Cole Juenger; and a sister, Ramona Vasques.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Dianne nee Leavitt Juenger, whom he married June 24, 1989; two sons:  Jacob Juenger of Collinsville, IL and Nicolas (Kirsten) Smith of Collinsville, IL; a brother, Charles (Joyce) Juenger; and a sister, Pat (Jim) Runge.

Memorial visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2020 with a service at 7 p.m. officiated by Rev. Jim Donahue.

The family will be assembling at Barry Wilson Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020 to procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO for burial with military honors.

Memorials may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation and will be received at the funeral home.
