Richard Elliott, age 59 of St. Louis, MO, born June 20, 1963 in Highland, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Clayton, MO.

Richard loved music and playing the guitar.  He enjoyed playing video games and watching the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues.  He was a proud and loyal dad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Richard and Georgianne (nee Plotch) Elliott.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Elliott of Breese, IL; two brothers:  Dave (Rhonda) Elliott of St. Louis, MO and Pat (Rita) Elliott of Collinsville, IL; two sisters:  Debbie (John) Gaines of Granite City, IL and Lynn Bettorf of Collinsville, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL with a service to follow at 7 p.m., officiated by Father John Beveridge.
