Rita Marie Soroka, age 75 of Pocahontas, IL, born April 7, 1948 in St, Louis, MO, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2024 at Carlyle Health Care Center in Carlyle, IL.

Rita was a realtor for some time and then went on to do bookkeeping at an appraisal company. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded by her son, Charles Soroka III; and parents: Charles and Marge (nee Lieght) Robinson.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Soroka, Jr., whom she married October 1, 1967; daughter, Ann (Glen) Burnett; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
