Robert "Bob" Anderson, Sr., age 65 of Caseyville, IL, born October 4, 1957 in Wood River, IL, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at his residence.

Bob retired from the Edwardsville Street Department after 43 years of service.  He enjoyed woodworking, collecting treasures, fishing, hanging at "The Foxhole" and watching the sunrise.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Norma Lee (nee Kruckeberg) Anderson; and a nephew, Jacob Viviano.

He is survived by his three children, Jill (Kenny) Altenberger of Maryville, IL, Robert (Erin) Anderson, Jr. of Edwardsville, IL and Elliott Anderson of Caseyville, IL; five grandchildren, Jaret, Paige and Jacob Altenberger and Sophia and Ryder Anderson; a brother, Doug (Becky) Anderson of Moro, IL;  and a sister, Rosanna (Bob) Rickett of Collinsville, IL.

Bob's wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
