Robert D. Burroughs, age 53 of Maryville, IL, born November 28, 1964 in East St. Louis, IL passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Robert was the owner/operator for Burroughs Tile & Hardwood in Troy, IL. He was a member of Road Saints and loved hotrod cars.

He is survived by his parents, Don and Barbara nee Pulliam Burroughs of Collinsville, IL; his wife, Erica nee Bloomquist Burroughs, whom he married November 1, 2008; a son, Dylan Burroughs of Maryville, IL; a step-son, Damien Bloomquist of Maryville, IL; a brother, John (Nancy) Burroughs of Lake Zurich, IL; niece and nephew, Rachel and Timothy Burroughs.

Memorial visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. following the visitation with Rev. Ron Habermehl officiating. Private burial will be on Monday, February 12, 2018 in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the family to be used for the boys' college fund, and will be received at the funeral home.
